This blog has been designed to talk about Chiropractic, about how changes to posture and lifestyle can make a difference, to share thoughts regarding back care and lifestyle. You will have to indulge me if slip in some posts about other passions of mine such as music and sport!
I’ll try to update as regularly as possible, but if a few days go by without a post, please forgive a busy Chiropractor! Having said that, feel free to leave comments, questions and suggestions, and to inform me of any other Chiropractic blogs that you feel I should be reading. There’s a world of information out there regarding back and neck care, so I’ll try to act as a filter and give you the best content, facts and information. Happy reading.
Hi Richard,
Hope you are keeping well, welcome to the blogsphere I have been doing it for about 4 years, its not so hard once you get into a routine and do it regularly.
I read your article in Contact. The problem will be there are many chiropractors with a different view from yours ( at least 50%) and while the GCC would agree with you, they promote chiropractic as one homogenous profession and need the registration fees of those with a different opinion.
How do you propose to get your colleagues with different education standards and different views on board a BIO medical model of chiropractoic. I feel the ACC paradigm a few years ago was a missed opportunity for the UK profession.

Thanks Richard – apologies for the delay in replying – a combination of IT issues and a holiday has led me to be quiet on the blog. I’m going to try and post more regularly now….
I occasionally read and enjoy your blog – we’ll always agree to disagree on what the current and future position for chiropractic should be I suspect – but enjoy the injection of humour and passion you put into the debate.
There are a range of views within chiropractic, but I believe and also believe the public expects us to, as a regulated profession, work in an evidence informed manner. I hope to persuade my chiropractic colleagues of the same.
